FAULHABER Coreless DC Micromotors
Brush Type Coreless DC-Micromotors: The main difference between coreless and conventional DC motors is the patented System FAULHABER skew wound, basket formed, low inductance, ironless rotor coil. Efficiency is increased by the elimination of hysteresis and core (iron) losses. The rotors are extremely light and have low inertia which means that the servoing response is much faster than conventional DC motors. The most nocticeable difference is the complete absence of cogging associated with conventional DC motors. Positioning is made much more accurate and stable. Coreless motors can operate at much lower currents than conventional motors and have very low starting voltages.

FTB Thin Profile DC Micromotors
Simply put the Thin Profile DC-Micromotors from FTB are designed to fit in where other PMDC motors can't. They range in size from 4.9-8.2mm in height and are perfect for low voltage, solar, table top displays, hand held scanners, miniature pumps or anywhere else where having a flat profile is essential to the application. They feature an ironless rotor for excellent dynamic performace, high efficiency and low current consumption. To increase torque and reduce speed, they come available with a full range of precision, thin profile spur gearheads.

ENGEL High Power PMDC Motors
ENGEL high power permanent magnet brush type DC-motors are some of the most reliable drives in the world. The motors are low maintenance and have extremely long operational lifetime. They feature replaceable brush sets for extended lifetime performance. Their robust construction make them very durable, excellent for industrial applications. The are available with optional safety brakes, high resolution rotary encoders and a wide variety of high precision low backlash spur, planetary and worm (right angle) gearheads. Servoamplifiers are available for speed control.

Micro-Drives Miniature DC Gearmotors were designed for challenging applications where reliability and precision cannot be sacrificed for bargain basement cost. Based on the reliable Micro-Drives line of iron core DC motors, the Micro-Drives Miniature DC Gearmotors are fitted with precision gearheads ranging from 12 to 60mm in outer diameter with reduction ratios ranging from 3 to 23,014:1. The gearheads are constructed of steel or highly durable plastic to fulfill the most demanding requirements.

Micro-Drives Miniature DC Motors are reliable, cost-effective slot wound iron core drives for use in high volume OEM applications where not only quantity but also quality is important. These miniature DC motors are small, light-weight, powerful and ready to integrate into even the most challenging applications. Precious metal brushes are used on 12 & 16 mm diameter DC motors, copper graphite brushes are used on DC motors 22 mm in diameter or larger. This ensures long motor lifetime and robust performance in harsh environments.
