(ACC) provides the most diverse and complete product portfolio in glycoscience, supplying high purity reagents for carbohydrate purification, biochemical and structural analysis, labeling, and detection of glycoconjugates.
Associates of Cape Cod, Inc.'s Contract Test Service (CTS) laboratory was established over 20 years ago to specialize in testing for endotoxin contamination and has the most extensive experience of any endotoxin testing laboratory in the world. CTS performs all methods of the LAL assay; gel-clot, chromogenic, and turbidimetric.
CTS is GMP compliant, ISO certified and is registered with the DEA as an analytical laboratory capable of handling all drugs except Schedule I controlled substances. All endotoxin testing is performed following FDA guidelines, USP, EP and/or JP depending on the specifications of the client.
The Company has launched a new clinical diagnostics division focusing on (1,3)-ß-D-glucan analysis to aid in the diagnosis of Invasive Fungal Infections (IFI).
In 2004, ACC began the manufacture and sale of the Fungitell™ assay, a diagnostic kit for the detection of (1,3)-ß-D-glucan in serum. ACC also owns and operates a CLIA-certified reference laboratory called Beacon Diagnostics™ Laboratory that specializes in serum (1,3)-ß-D-glucan testing.
