Miniature Motion Controller Solutions
Built for reliability and high performance, the MVP 2001 can communicate via RS-232, RS-485 (multidrop) or DeviceNet (CAN) protocols. An optional Macro programming module is available which allows complete motion routines to be downloaded for free-standing operation. Only one Macro module is required to operate up to 63 axes of motion in applications such as conveyers, material handling and packaging equipment, dispensing machines, inspection systems, and semiconductor processing equipment. This free-standing flexibility enables the module to support complex operations with little or no support from a host computer or network device, thus considerably lowering the cost and complexity of motion control systems.
The kits is supplied with a complete Visual Basic demo software package which supports all of the standard features of the controller. Included are example routines for intialization, status detection, flow control, and diagnostics. This reduces start-up time from hours to minutes. Also available are source code examples, provided in Quick Basic, Visual Basic, MATLAB and as Labview virtual instruments, each designed to simplify the design integration process.
