MicroMo offers a complete range of precision gearheads to complement the extensive line of DC motors. Several different types are available, from high-torque, all-metal planetary gears to highly precise zero backlash gearheads, to fit any miniature motion control requirement.

FAULHABER Hybrid Gearheads
FAULHABER hybrid gearheads deliver the smooth, quiet performance of a spur gearhead combined with a robust high power planetery output satge. They come available with sleeve or ball bearings and in ratios up to 3,295:1.

FAULHABER Planetary Gearheads
FAULHABER planetary gearheads deliver powerful, long lasting performance in compact dimensions. They are available with sleeve, ball, and ceramic bearings and in ratios up to 23,014:1.

FAULHABER Spur Gearheads
FAULHABER Spur gearheads deliver smooth, quiet performance in compact dimensions. They come available with sleeve or ball bearings and in ratios up to 983,447:1.

FAULHABER Zero-backlash Gearheads
FAULHABER miniature zero-backlash gearheads are unique in the industry. They are dual pass spur gearheads with all metal geartrains and housings. True zero-backlash performance is achieved by counter rotating the individual gear passes and preloading them on the motor pinion. Sizes range from 12 to 24mm in outer diameter with reduction ratios up to 2,050:1. They are ideal for combination with FAULHABER coreless DC-Micromotors or ARSAPE 2-phase stepper motors.

ARSAPE Planetary, Spur and Zero-Backlash Spur
Precision gearing for DC stepper motors increases the resolution and torque of the motor, reduces the output speed, and smooths out any of the cogging affect usually associated with a stepping motor. This means that slow speed, high resolution motion can be achieved without an encoder in a very small package. In combination with a zero-backlash spur gear ARSAPE stepper motors can reach a resolution of 40,080 full steps/revolution.

ENGEL Planetary, Spur and Worm (Right Angle)
ENGEL gears are precision machined for high efficiency and durability. in combination with the ENGEL brush type DC motors, the low baclklash planetary gears can deliver up to 130Nm of continuous duty torque and the mighty GCN spur gear can deliver up to 630 Nm of torque! ENGEL's right angle gearboxes are an excellent solution for applications with limited available space for the motor.
