Colder Products Company Creates Connector Site For Blood-Pressure Monitoring Equipment Manufacturers
New Colder ScrewThread Line Enhances Blood-Pressure Monitoring Connector Options
Manufacturers of non-invasive blood-pressure monitoring equipment and cuffs have dozens of different coupling and fitting options for their products. To make the process of finding these connectors faster and easier, Colder Products Company, the leading developer of secure, leak-free connectors, has launched a dedicated website (www.colder.com/BPcuffs) for blood-pressure monitoring equipment and cuff connection solutions, including its new ScrewThread connector.
"We've developed a single site where customers who manufacture blood-pressure cuffs and other non-invasive monitoring equipment can find the diverse range of connector products they need," said Jim Brown, medical business unit manager for Colder Products Company. "Our goal is to simplify sourcing and specifying the right connection."
The site is designed to provide easy navigation and simple access to all connectors for the complete range of blood pressure monitoring needs. Colder's leak-free offerings include the range of connector needs and descriptions from screw-thread, quarter-turn, bayonet and single-tube to dual-tube, neonatal, extension-hose, SMC and subminiature.
Easier-to-Use Blood-Pressure Monitoring Fittings
Colder's new ScrewThread connector uses precision-designed threads to minimize the chance of unthreading and parting line-free hose barbs to ensure leak-free connections. Part of Colder's extensive FitQuik™ product line, the ScrewThread connector uses an ergonomic design and soft-touch overmolded sleeve to provide a better feel and improved ease of use.
The ScrewThread connector consists of a white nylon stem and a glass-filled polypro with TPV overmolded sleeve that is soft on users' fingers. It has multiple hose barb options to mate with a variety of tubing styles and sizes.
